Open Water Diver Certification

Postby MillerTime » Tue Apr 28, 2009 7:40 pm

Is there any insructors planning a trip for open water diver certification to warmer water? I know there was talk about an Arkansas trip, is that still in the works? Open water certification here was pushed back due to cold water. Any weekend works great for me and my truck holds 4.

As I stated in the email I sent out. I hated to reschedule but after the email I got from another student, I felt much better, It read,"Sounds good to me, I had to retreive the dog from the platt river this weekend and that was bone chilling cold just walking in knee high water." 58 degrees is not ideal for open water dives. I know you don't understand Dave but the water is too cold to be out there. In the last 15 years, this is the first time we had to do this because of the cold. As far as the Arkansas trip, I left that up to someone else and the ball was dropped. So what can I say........ :( :( :( :(
