Don touched so many people in his short life. And I just don't know where to begin. You would think since I'm his dad I would have a lot to say. But words just can't flow. Don wasn't looking for praise in what he did for others. He just did it. Yes he was my son, a great son, but more so he was someone I could share things with. As I know now, he did that for a lot of you. From Camp Jenny to a little girl in Kansas City, all with CF. I have received so many e-mails from his friends and I guess they can say it better then I. As you read just a few of the e-mail I received, you'll see why I'm so proud of him. He believed in angels and now he is an angel.

As people many have already mentioned, he will probably be best remembered as Waldo in 1996. I remember in 1996 or 1997 when he was on The List for new lungs, and how excited he would get every time his pager went off. Even though a good match was never found, he didn't let that slow him down. When it came to life, he was tenacious enough to live it as he wanted for as long he wanted. Though you have left a tremendous hole in many of us, we all know you are so much better off. Donald, RUN! JUMP! SING! SCREAM! Do anything and everything your mortal body would never let you do! And keep an eye out for the rest of us down here. "Friends are friends forever." -Michael W. Smith "I have been, and always shall be, your friend." -Spock

Seeing him at camp every year on sponsor night was something I looked forward to. Donald - We miss you. You were a good person.

I know your up with the angels now, breathing freely and at ease. You touched many people with you kind words and loving heart, I will never forget you! P.S.~ Give Travis a hug for me!!!!
Travis was a friend of Don's that passed before him. I don't know how to go on without him, but I must. You see, I made him a promise, to keep this web site up and running. That promise I will keep until I see him again. He is and will always be missed.
