Light tan head with only indistinct, unpatterned markings. Not heavily mottled as many others. If body is exposed, can be distinguished by several blotches along sides. |

Abundance & Distribution: |
Occasional South Florida, Bahamas, and Caribbean. |

| Habitat & Behavior: |
Inhabits areas of coral rubble, rocks and sand, or in this case, his home is a piece of Fire Coral. May allow close approach, but retreats into burrow when threatened. |

| Reaction to Divers: |
When approoached, retreat into protective recesses. |
